Arrival, parking & mobile on site

Driving on the island is allowed by car. However, parking is very limited. We recommend a journey with the public transport. It is not allowed to drive on the island with a camper or a caravan. Therefore, there is also no parking offer.

Here you will find an overview of all parking options. Since parking on Lindau Island is limited, we recommend using one of the reception parking lots P1, P2 and P3 on the mainland or arriving by public transport if possible.

For evening events, the event or pre-paid ticket is available from 6:00 p.m. for 5.00 EUR. This way, you avoid long waiting times at the automatic pay station after the event. After entering the parking garage, simply insert the parking ticket into the pay station within 15 minutes. Choose the option “prepaid ticket”. You can leave the car park until 8:00 a.m. the following day.

You can plan your journey by train on this page of the Deutsche Bahn. The island train station is only a few minutes walk from the Inselhalle Lindau. The long-distance train station Lindau-Reutin is connected to the island by regional transport or city bus. From the mainland, city buses 2 and 5 travel to Lindau Island – with a direct stop at the Inselhalle Lindau. Click here to go directly to the timetable and route network.

Your event day

In our house, jackets, backpacks as well as bags (from DIN A4) are to be handed in at the checkroom during public events. We are concerned solely with your safety – we attach great importance to compliance with this regulation in order to be able to ensure the quickest possible evacuation in the event of an emergency. Jackets over the backs of chairs and bags under seats can not only become fatal tripping hazards, but also represent a considerable fire load. The checkroom is, of course, guarded throughout and your deposited items are also insured. Cost? Zero euros.

The organizer is responsible for ticket sales. We do not offer permanent ticket sales in the Inselhalle itself. The only exception is the box office, which is usually available one hour before the start of the event. If you have any questions about your tickets or wish to return them, please first contact the respective ticket portal or the advance booking office where you purchased the tickets. You will usually find this information on your ticket.

Unfortunately not. Pets are not allowed in the Inselhalle Lindau. The only exception are therapy animals. In order to avoid difficulties on site, please register in advance at info@inselhalle-lindau.de and bring the appropriate identification of the animal with you on the day of the event.

We keep lost property in the Inselhalle Lindau for about two weeks. If you find something missing, we will be happy to help you find it. Simply contact us at info@inselhalle-lindau.de. After the two weeks we hand over the lost property to the lost property office of the city of Lindau.

Accessibility

Of course, all current norms and standards are met in our modern conference center. You can find detailed information on barrier-free equipment here.

Yes, we have seats with good accessibility and sufficient space available for wheelchair users. Please note to book a wheelchair ticket when buying your ticket or, if not possible, inform the organizer otherwise. We would hate to have complications for you on the day of the event.

In the parking garage P4 directly opposite the Inselhalle Lindau there are sufficient marked parking spaces for disabled persons.
