A breather with glamour factor

“Deceleration” is the motto at Gitzenweiler Hof, Lindau’s five-star camping park. For some years now, this has been possible particularly comfortably in fully equipped small houses in the countryside. Conference guests of the Inselhalle are happy to take advantage of the offer.

The Gitzenweiler Hof is 14 hectares in size, the equivalent of about 20 soccer fields. So a walk across the grounds takes a while, even if the cozy grounds with the carp pond in the center don’t seem that big. Campingpark Gitzenweiler Hof follows the trend of “glamping,” which combines the comfort of a hotel with the natural surroundings and freedom of a campground. Since 2013, a little away from the main action and nestled in a grove of trees, there has been a colony of ten Varia Homes on the GITZ: lots of glass and a terrace on the outside, bright, high-quality materials on the inside, and full furnishings including a double bed and a bathroom with shower and toilet satisfy even the highest demands. The small houses in the green are particularly well received by visitors to the Inselhalle. Many, the conference guests who are mentally challenged during the day, perhaps even have to negotiate hard, want some distance and a balance in the evening. At Gitzenweiler Hof, they can quietly put one last thought to paper – and then put their feet up in a vacation world.
