Parking
If you are arriving in your own car or a rental car, you can park conveniently right next to the Inselhalle Lindau. There you will find the modern, barrier-free P4 parking garage with around 400 spacious parking spaces, including 9 disabled parking spaces, 14 family parking spaces, and 4 electric parking spaces with e-charging stations.
From 2026, the city of Lindau will introduce a digital, barrier-free parking management system. The new solution replaces barriers and tickets with data protection-compliant license plate recognition and enables convenient parking without stopping.
Here’s how it works:
- Entering: Thanks to the barrier-free entrance, you can drive in directly without stopping. The parking process starts automatically as soon as your license plate has been scanned.
- Parking & visiting: Select one of the available parking spaces and remember your license plate number. There is no need to take a separate parking ticket.
- Paying: Please pay for your parking. After entering your license plate number at a pay station, you can pay with coins, card, Apple Pay, or Google Pay. Alternatively, parkers can also pay online or via the “EasyPark” app up to 24 hours after the end of the parking session.
- Exiting: Paid for parking? Then you can simply drive away. Your license plate number will be read automatically at the exit and the parking session will be considered complete.
